Week by Week Evaluation FMP

Week 1

In the first week i finished my Rationale, Project Concept, Project action plan & timetable and initial ideas, This is only to give the examiner an idea of how my project should go if everything goes according to plan so far everything looks up to standard by next week i should i have started my secondary research just so i can get a feel of how a mockumentary should look and to make sure my work follows the codes and conventions of a typical mockumentary

week 2

In this week i have watched various mockumentaries for example SWIL (somewhere in London) and Hood Documentary these are beneficial to my research as they are based in south London which is where my production will be filmed I've found them useful as they have taught me about how to use camera angles to get funnier scenes and how to caricature my characters as much as possible also they are more realistic than other shows which has helped me to form a realistic style as opposed to cinematic

week 3

This week i have finished all my primary research, my survey and focus group are complete, i conducted these in order to know what my audience want from me in my production and how i am going to achieve this furthermore all my preproduction templates have been completed excluding my storyboard, by next week i aim to complete my storyboard and progress onto completing my script which shouldn't take long as i have already made a start

week 4

Me and Andre have began filming for our work in the television studio we have filmed the intro and conclusion for our productions however we have not filmed the sketches which is the main bit and we are falling behind schedule in the fifth week we should've finished the majority of filming for Andre's production and should be able to move onto mine

week 5

Andre and I are running behind but we have filmed the majority of his production there is only a few bits and bobs left before finalization we've filmed in Norbury park and golf close which is where Andre production is based by the sixth week i should have filmed at Lakeman court and beulah road

week 6

Andre and i have finalized his production and are now ready to move onto mine but due to my hospital appointments we missed some days that could've been used for filming so definitely in the week holiday that we have i would film for my production then in the Eighth week finish editing and my poster in order to complete my production

Week 7

Andre and Myself managed to start and finish episode 2 all in one day it was a bit rushed and therefore is not as good as it should have been but the time was against us, we managed to work in most of the scenes we planned to shoot for example being outside Morelys, sitting in the flat building and some shots of myself in the kitchen all thats left now is editing and my production will be finished.

week 8

I began and my finished my editing however my production did not come out as clean as i wanted it to due to it being rushed, i lost most of my scenes and had to stretch it out with cut ins of myself in the tv studio, i also had to screen my work before deadline so this added a bit more pressure but now everything is practically finished all i need to do is my poster and evaluation to finalize my work.
